Auchan winning in the wine category

Delivering a great in-store journey is one of the key drivers for retailers to achieve. This gives them a clear differentiator but also creates great looking displays that ensure customers keep returning because they like the environment and enjoy the experience.

Auchan Hungary approached HL to help them deliver this to their wine category for two key reason, firstly they wanted to make it easier to shop so that products aligned with prices and  bottles did not get mixed or damaged.

They also wanted to improve how their staff replenished the shelves by reducing the amount of time spent. Refilling the shelves is particularly difficult in the wine category as bottles are fragile and speed is not necessarily ideal, so the solution had to fit both requirements.

By introducing our Facer™ pull system it delivered a great looking display that is easy to shop and reduces the amount of time spent by staff when replenishing.

Having installed the Facer™ in 9 stores, Auchan have been delighted with the results including the healthy sales uplift which is running at over 9.5% so far.
