Stockmann, established in 1862, is a Finnish listed company engaged in the retail trade. It has approximately 45 000 shareholders and over 16 000 employees. The Group’s revenue in 2010 was EUR 1 822 million.
Food department in Stockmann Helsinki has always been a place where you can find latest novelties, all exotic food and very best delicacy alternatives. Department store in Helsinki was under big renovation for a long period and at the same time Food section was enlarged and opened August 2010.
As they always have been innovators for new things something new came along this renovation as well – they opened a whole section for coffee and tea, where HL’s 3ebins were used to present selected qualities. It was a success from the beginning and they had difficulties in getting in enough coffee and tea from suppliers. At the same time they enlarged they assortment for organic food for which we designed a special display with scoop bins for their Mysli-bar as they call it now.
